Premium On Model (POM) Image Requirements

General

  • The photo should contain a real product, which will be used as a reference for setting up the scene and lighting.
  • The image is fully in focus (no blurry, out-of-focus parts).
  • Preferred image quality of at least 3000 x 3000 pixels and 300 dpi.
  • Ideally, the width of the image should be equal to the height of the image, so it's easier to work with the proportions of the image when cropping (if necessary). Or the width of the image can be greater than the height of the image (proportions 1200 x 1050 pixels). Images that are too narrow are not suitable, when inserting the image in the widget, the product displayed might be too close to the edge of the widget, which isn’t an ideal way to display the product.
  • Premium On-Model supports AI-generated images.

Rings:

  • There should be a small distance between the fingers in order to make room for the product and optimally place it.
  • The field of focus of the model's hand is critical. All fingers should be in focus to prevent blur around the product.

Earrings:

  • The field of focus of the model's ear is critical. This prevents blur around the product.
  • The ear should be located in the middle of the image, this facilitates further work with the image and provides a better display of the product on he model.
  • Images showing the same side of each model's face are ideal. Moderation/new products will be added more efficiently if so.

(Optional)

  • Providing camera and lens parameters can help the 3D team set up a scene that closely matches the real environment. These parameters are typically stored in the EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) metadata, which is often available in TIFF files. The most useful parameters include:
    • Lens focal length (e.g., 35mm, 50mm)
    • Aperture (f-stop) (e.g., f/1.8, f/5.6)
    • Shutter speed (e.g., 1/100s, 1/200s)
    • ISO sensitivity (e.g., ISO 100, ISO 400)
    • Camera model and sensor size
  • For necklaces, knowing the model’s neck circumference can provide additional reference points for Tangiblee’s 3D team when setting up the on-model scene.
  • For necklaces, knowing the model’s neck circumference can provide additional reference points for Tangiblee’s 3D team when setting up the on-model scene.
  • Note: While model neck circumference can be provided, it will not be used to match the imagery exactly. Necklace 3D models are adjusted based on two predefined neck circumferences according to the product’s gender tag. As a result, the displayed necklace length may differ from real photos if the model's neck circumference varies significantly from the reference measurements. This approach ensures that the same 3D model can be reused for future on-model imagery, making it easier to update model scenes at scale.
